Design Case: Display package for one wine bottle

This display package stands out because of its contemporary design. The construction fits all wines of the same brand family.

The Mock-Up

The dark blue design of the package with its gold embossing harmonises with the gold-coloured frosted glass bottle. As such it enhances the visibility of the brand on the bottle.

The package was designed by the wine producer.

Production

The package was printed on cartonboard laminated to E-flute. The outside was printed in 2-colour offset plus matt gloss and gold embossing. The inside of the box was printed in 1-colour flexo. The carton is erected manually by the packer-filler and is held together with ’clips’ of E-flute.

Finished

The package protects the bottles from touching each other during transport. The integrated handle allows easy and safe transport.
