Pro Carton / ECMA Carton Award 2007
The Pro Carton / ECMA Carton Award is the leading packaging design competition in Europe. The competition inspires more and more designers to use the possibilities that cartonboard offers concerning shape and graphical impact.
This time there was one exception – packaging for tobacco. There were so few entrants that the category was excluded from the competition.
The jury found several entries where the environmental advantages of cartonboard were well enhanced. Cartonboard is lightweight, strong and so flexibel that it fullfills most functional needs of a package.
There was well over a hundred entries that the jury had judge.
The jury consisted of Satkar Gidda, Chairman of the jury, Pascal van Beek, Erik Berghem and Burgunde Uhlig.
